This field book documents Cooper's paleontological and geological field work in Glass Mountain, West Texas from 17 March to 3 April 1967. Cooper includes some description of stratigraphy (some sketches with measurements included) and lists of fossils found at various levels. Sponges, brachiopods, fusulines, mollusks, and possibly other types of specimen were found or collected. Specimens are from the Cretaceous period and possibly other geological periods. Locations include but are not limited to Chinati Mountains, Guadalupes, Old Word Ranch near Wolf Camp Hills, Decie Ranch, Hess Canyon, and Dugout Mountain. The maps contain alphanumeric codes corresponding to a locality. Some coordinate information is included.
