Abstract

People have seen the concept of gamification, which has been used for more than 10 years, in every field, from education to health, from marketing to sports. For this reason, gamification is a popular application. This article shows that gamification applications can also be applied in the machinery manufacturing industry. For this purpose, a new website has been created in a company that manufactures machinery.The wheel, which is a gamification element, has been integrated according to the demands of customers and suppliers.Action research was conducted during the process. The results showed that, thanks to this wheel, the company's domestic and international sales increased and it became more accessible at home and abroad. In addition, this study is a first in the machinery manufacturing industry with its gamification application.
