The incidence of fibromatous tumor is rather frequent in the soft part of oral cavity. In most cases, their histological features show benign fibrous growth and not real neoplasms. However, in general, they are called fibroma. The common size ofthe tumor is 10 to 30 mm in diameter.
Recently, the authors encountered a fist sized (110gr.) so-called fibroma of the maxillary gingiva and the case was reported.
