Abstract

Aim: To report a patient of ankyloblepharon filiforme adnatum along with popliteal pterygium.
Case report: A five-month-old girl presented with bilateral ankyloblepharon, cleft lip, cleft palate, bilateral
syngnathia, popliteal pterygium in both lower limbs, syndactyly in the right foot, and genital anomalies.
Ankyloblepharon was released for proper vision.
Conclusion: Popliteal pterygium syndrome presented with ankyloblepharon is filiforme adnatum; may present to
an ophthalmologist in delay but prompt action is needed for good vision.
