Presentation

Feeling of foreign body in the midline just below the level of the thyroid for 10 days. Patient suspected that he had a fishbone stuck in his throat.

Case Discussion

Tonsilloliths are also called tonsil stones. They can cause foul smelling odor and a foreign body sensation. They are collections of calcification and debris that get stuck in the crevices of the tonsils.
