Abstract:		 In June 2020 the strip, map and record of a 20m x 20m area (400m2) was undertaken in land north of Fairfields, Longframlington, centred on the undated post-hole/pit identified in the previous 2019 archaeological evaluation of the proposed development area. The excavation took place over two days and identified no feature of archaeological interest within 20m of the post-hole, suggesting that the feature was a single intervention of no discernible date.
