Abstract:		 Scheme of archaeological monitoring at Morpeth Castle gatehouse, Northumberland during works to renew the 20th century kitchen. The monitoring took place covering the lifting of ten floor slabs for re-levelling and the insertion of a small cable directly beneath the floor slabs within the modern packing sand. No archaeological structures, deposits or artefacts were observed during the monitoring scheme.
