Abstract:		 Pre Construct Archaeology Ltd. (PCA) was commissioned by Archaeology Collective to undertake an archaeological evaluation on the site known as Island Site, Basingstoke, Hampshire. The evaluation which comprised 11 30m X 1.8m trenches was opened between the 31st January and 2nd February 2017. The evaluation was generally completed in keeping with the Written Scheme of Investigation. The evaluation revealed no significant archaeological features or deposits. It is concluded that the evaluation appears to have demonstrated that the Site retains no significant archaeological potential.
