Nine cases of avascular necrosis of the femoral heads caused by fractures of the femoral neck and dislocations of the hip joint were treated by vascular bundle transplantation.
The results of these 9 cases are described in this paper. The follow-up period ranged from 5 to 20 years and the results of the operations were examined roentgenographyically and clinically.
