Abstract

Olahraga merupakan kebutuhan bagi manusia dalam kehidupan, agar jasmani dan derajat sehatnya terjaga secara baik. Pentingnya keadaan kondisi fisik pada setiap individu masing-masing untuk meraih prestasi. Salah satu dalam meraih prestasi olahraga ada faktor yang penting ialah dibutuhkan unsur penguasan teknik, tak-tik, kondisi fisik, dan kemampuan mental yang harus dimiliki seorang atlet. Menurut teori yang disampaikan untuk memiliki kondisi fisik yang bagus dan prima ialah harus melakukan latihan yang sesuai dengan program latihan yang telah dirancang dengan baik dan sesuai kebutuhan pada cabang olahraga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kondisi fisik siswa ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember. Jenis penelitian ini metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif kualitatif adalah untuk memahami fenomena yang sedang terjadi secara alamiah dalam keadaan-keadaan yang sedang terjadi secara ilmiah. Sampel yang akan digunakan yaitu siswa ekstrakurikuler futsal SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember yang terdiri dari 9 siswa. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes MFT (Multistage Fitness Test). Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh Jember dengan 9 subjek mampu melewati di level pertama, akan tetapi ketika pada level ke-2 ada 4 subjek tidak mampu memenuhi dengan genap karena badannya ada yang kurus atau kecil. Sedangkan yang level standar ada 3 subjek, artinya kondisi fisik tersebut kurang dikarenakan dengan usia 15 tahun kurang terlatih atau belum terbiasa berlari, sehingga kondisi fisiknya lemah. Sedangkan level tertinggi dari 9 subjek ada 2 subjek, artinya 2 subjek tersebut mampu melewati level lebih dari yang lain, akan tetapi masih belum dikatakan baik karena badannya terlalu gemuk.
