Research on the Strategy of Integrating Red Culture into Patriotic Education Activities of Young People

Abstract

Young people are the flowers of the motherland, is the future of the motherland, youth teachers have great responsibilities. Integrate red culture into daily teaching activities, inherit and carry forward, enhance children’s values, cultivate children’s excellent qualities such as patriotism and selfless dedication, improve children’s comprehensive quality, and let children grow up healthily. Taking red culture as the starting point, this paper discusses the strategy of integrating red cultural resources into patriotic education activities of teenagers, points out the existing problems in the current integration of red culture into patriotic education activities of teenagers and finds out the reasons; clarify the relevant concepts of red culture and patriotic education activities for young people; from the three aspects of integrating curriculum resources to enhance the significance of red culture education, creating a red environment to create a red education atmosphere, and digging deep into red cultural resources, this paper discusses the strategy of integrating red culture into patriotic education activities for young people, aiming to promote the organic combination of patriotic education activities and red culture for young people, and increase national and cultural self-confidence.

1. Introduction

The reason why red cultural and educational resources can be valued by the education industry and even the state, and stand out among many educational resources, is due to its unique purpose. Red education for teenagers is not blindly indoctrination, but requires the education industry and young teachers to combine theory with practice from the theoretical and practical significance of red culture, make better use of red cultural resources, and have a positive impact on teenagers.

The report of the Nineteenth National Congress, it is emphasized that building a strong educational country is the cornerstone of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and that the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue should be carried out to the end, quality education should be vigorously developed, and all aspects of education should be promoted.

2. The Theory of Integrating Red Culture into Patriotic Education Activities of Young People

Red culture is a revolutionary culture created under the leadership of the Communist Party of China by integrating, reorganizing, absorbing and optimizing the ancient and modern advanced cultural achievements at home and abroad, and guided by the scientific theory of Marxism-Leninism. It is a unique political, ideological and cultural form of our country. Red culture is an important cultural resource, it has both material and spiritual. The most basic feature of red culture is “red”, including material culture and spiritual culture.

Red education refers to the fact that educational subjects take red culture as the carrier, the national spirit and revolutionary tradition carried by it as the content, and carry out ideal and belief education, revolutionary tradition education and patriotism education for educational objects in a planned, purposeful and organized way.

Red education for teenagers is to carry out colorful “red education” for children in the process of physical and psychological development, according to the principle of “edutainment”, so as to lay a good foundation for children’s lifelong growth.

Teaching activities in youth garden are purposeful and planned activities designed and organized by teachers according to the teaching purpose, which play a very important role in promoting the all-round development of young people, and are also the main content of youth’s one-day activities in the garden.

The education of the youth park is comprehensive and enlightening, which can be divided into five areas: health, language, society, science and art. It can also be divided into game activities, group activities and group activities.

The characteristics of youth patriotic education activities are extensive and enlightening. Youth kindergarten education is the enlightening education for children, the initial education for children’s early growth, and the education that lays the foundation for children’s further development. The content of youth kindergarten education activities is the basic content that young people can learn, and it is comprehensive.

Comprehensiveness and integrity. The content of youth kindergarten education in China is integrated into language, health, science, society and art, which has a strong comprehensiveness. It is necessary to emphasize its comprehensiveness and wholeness, to present the things and phenomena that teenagers know in front of teenagers as a whole, so that teenagers can know things and gain experience in the overall activities.

When organizing the content of educational activities, teachers should pay attention to the life of teenagers, be good at exploring the beneficial experience in the life of teenagers, and arrange it into the content system of educational activities, so as to adapt to the learning characteristics of teenagers and meet their learning needs.

2.1. The Purpose of Integrating Red Culture into Patriotic Education Activities for Young People

To enrich the content carrier of patriotic education activities for young people

In the traditional patriotic education activities of young people, teachers take textbooks as the main carrier to carry out teaching activities; In terms of extracurricular teaching activities, there is a lack of relevant carriers, and the education effect for teenagers is not very good. Integrating red resources into the teaching of youth parks can enrich the carrier of teaching activities and enrich the teaching content. Red resources include various revolutionary sites and cultural relics, which are diverse in type, and although each red resource has a strong patriotic thought in connotation, its specific meaning is still very different. Adolescent teachers should choose the appropriate resources according to the teaching needs to meet the different needs of adolescent education.

To improve the quality of patriotic education activities for young people

With the core of comprehensively improving the quality of education as the center, efforts to promote quality education can comprehensively improve the way of teaching and learning. By integrating red resources into the teaching of teenagers, relevant resources will increase the way of teaching for teenagers on the basis of enriching the carrier and content of education. Teachers can carry out case teaching to enhance the authenticity and shock of teaching through telling actual cases, and cultivate the red spirit of teenagers;

Compared with the previous teaching methods based on textbooks, integrating red culture into youth education innovates the teaching methods, thus improving the quality of youth patriotic education activities.

To inspire patriotic education feelings

Education, science, technology and human resources are the foundation and strategic support for China to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Education is an important matter for the country and the Party. The foundation of education is morality. Red resources are important carriers of Chinese revolutionary history and culture, and contain a large amount of subject knowledge. Through the integration of red resources, young people can have a more intuitive understanding of red history, touch their young hearts, stimulate their patriotic feelings, and cultivate their good moral qualities.

2.2. The Characteristics of Integrating Red Culture into Youth Patriotic Education Activities

Children’s thinking characteristics are mainly concrete and figurative, so it is necessary to use the teaching methods that teenagers are interested in to carry out red education for teenagers, and the teaching content should be interesting and edutainment is fun. Blindly boring teaching will lead to the distraction of teenagers and fail to achieve the expected teaching effect.

For example, environmental creation, mainly using wall design, etc., to display red stories, red characters, etc., so that teenagers can unconsciously carry out a good education for themselves. Teaching activities include watching movies, giving lectures, parents coming into the classroom and so on. Regional activities are mainly red, including: paying soles, weaving raincoat, sending military rations and so on. The so-called outdoor activities are to simulate some combat scenes outside, such as the two armies facing each other, battlefield first aid and other scenes, so that the children can personally experience the smoke of war. According to the characteristics and needs of different ages, education is fun, so that children learn in play.

To focus on arousing the enthusiasm of young people

What is the role of teachers in early childhood education? It is clearly pointed out in the Outline that “teachers should be children’s supporters, collaborators and guides”, so teachers should strongly support and guide children’s activities and stimulate children’s enthusiasm.

Teachers’ teaching should be combined with the interests of young people to carry out activities, in order to better attract the attention of children. In the process of red education for teenagers, if teachers only tell heroic stories or play videos of relevant red deeds in the activities, the activities will easily become boring and teenagers will lose interest. Teachers can use a variety of vivid teaching AIDS such as small red flags, toy pistols or red army hats to attract the attention of children, provide children with a variety of operable materials, let children do it themselves, but also to mobilize the enthusiasm of children to participate in activities.

All in all, in order to stimulate the enthusiasm of children to participate in activities, it is necessary to understand their needs from the perspective of children, but also to give full play to the teacher’s teaching creativity, so that children can get knowledge and experience in happy activities.

2.3. The Significance of Integrating Red Culture into Young People’s Patriotic Education Activities

Theoretical significance

Education should start from the baby, and integrate red culture into the youth park education, the biggest benefit of which is to stimulate the patriotic feelings of young people, so that young people can feel the excellent thoughts of revolutionary ancestors in the real historical facts [2] .

However, there are still things in society that hurt national feelings.

In 2022, the memorial plaque of the Japanese war criminals in Xuanzang Temple in Nanjing has attracted increasing attention from the society, which shows that the education of patriotic feelings is particularly important for preschool children. On July 21, 2022, some netizens said that they had seen the memorial tablet of a Japanese aggressor in a temple on Jiuhua Mountain in Nanjing in February last year. The netizen also said that they had heard from tourists that the cost of enlisting a memorial plaque was between 30,000 and 50,000 yuan. Later, it was confirmed that Xuanzang Temple in Nanjing was dedicated to Japanese war criminals. The Nanjing Municipal Party Committee government set up a special work team overnight to investigate and deal with, saying that the behavior of hurting national feelings was checked to the end, and after investigation, the involved personnel were arrested.

Japan’s aggression against China is a shame that cannot be forgotten. During the 14-year War of Resistance against Japanese aggression, Japanese militarism left us a deep wound and we paid a heavy price for it. That sad and moving chapter in modern history is one that all Chinese people can never forget. What is more incredible is that Nanjing, which was ravaged by the Japanese army, has several Japanese war criminals’ memorial tablets enshrined here, which is creepy! If such incidents are not dealt with in time and occur frequently, we can not imagine the impact on the future generations, only to prevent the occurrence of such incidents, in order to ensure that the contemporary value of the Chinese national spirit forever, and then promote the future training of preschool children patriotic feelings and national feelings of the process of education activities, to realize the revolutionary traditional education from the child, to cultivate patriotic feelings.

Integrating red cultural resources is conducive to promoting children’s moral education

Red culture has a profound historical and cultural heritage, which helps to cultivate children’s patriotic feelings, establish positive ideals and beliefs, values, outlook on life and world outlook, and cultivate good moral character and upright people, so as to achieve the most perfect effect of moral education activities. Preschool teachers can combine red culture with children’s moral education activities, so that children are subtly influenced.

Today’s teenagers, most of them are the only child, they are spoiled at home, poor psychological quality, thus forming a fear of suffering afraid of fatigue, excessive dependence, psychological vulnerability and other shortcomings, which has a negative impact on their study and life. However, solidarity, selfless dedication, and helping others in the red culture can help them correct their shortcomings, and thus promote the comprehensive and healthy development of young people.

Practical significance

Integrating red culture into youth education meets the needs of advancing with The Times

In recent years, the state has promulgated a lot of relevant laws and regulations, and gradually guide preschool educators to improve the understanding of the educational value of red resources, and carry out effective application of it.

In the report of the Party’s 20th National Congress, there is also a new proposal, that is, accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system, and take moral education as the fundamental. The quality of education is first reflected in moral education.

Under the new historical conditions, the requirement for the full implementation of all laws and policies reflects the requirements of the development of The Times [3] .

In the past, teachers carried out teaching activities for young people according to the content stipulated in textbooks, ignoring the influence of Chinese traditional excellent spiritual civilization on young people. The 20th report pointed out that teachers are the foundation of education and the source of education, and integrating red cultural resources into youth education can increase teachers’ understanding of relevant red resources, increase relevant knowledge reserves, and improve teachers’ teaching ability [4] .

3. Problems and Reasons of Integrating Red Culture into Youth Patriotic Education Activities

The education of pre-school children has always been a major event in the education field, especially the moral education of young people. The success of moral education is directly related to the development of young people on the road of life. As we all know, the red spirit represents the vitality of a nation, and the moral education is permeated with the red cultural spirit, which is an important way to inherit and practice the red spirit. The youth park should be fully aware of the importance of red culture, let young people realize the great red spirit, enjoy the edification of red heritage, and help young people develop better on the road in the future.

According to the analysis of the current situation of integrating red culture into young people’s patriotic education activities, it is found that there are still some problems that have not been fully solved [5] .

3.1. Problems in Integrating Red Culture into Patriotic Education Activities for Young People

Teaching curriculum development is not systematic

In terms of curriculum activity design, the current teaching methods adopted by teachers are rather rigid, and they simply integrate red culture with teenagers’ teaching content, without systematically integrating red cultural resources with teenagers’ patriotic education activities, which is not conducive to teenagers’ understanding. For example, when integrating the spirit of the Northeast Resistance League into the curriculum of young people, most of the teachers in the youth kindergarten directly play relevant videos or pictures of heroes of the Northeast Resistance League to young people in class, without giving more detailed explanations. At the end of the course, young people would still be confused and fail to understand what is actually said in class. Not to mention trying to get teenagers to feel patriotic.

For example, young teachers should design a curriculum activity about the Northeast resistance spirit, and this theme can be integrated with the five areas of young people’s activities. A series of activities such as painting performances can be allowed to increase young people’s interest [6] .

Schools and teachers should continue to update their educational concepts, update their knowledge and ability, take the initiative to accept new knowledge and technology, especially to keep up with the pace of digitalization and intelligence, in order to fully empower education and fasten the first button of young people’s life.

The red education atmosphere is not strong

Youth aspects

The creation of red culture environment in youth garden is very rare, and the creation form of red culture is also very simple. Simply paste paintings, handwritten newspapers, etc. about the color red on the wall; sometimes the teenagers sing red songs together. The creation of a single form, young people can not be immersive, the red cultural atmosphere is not strong.

Due to the young age, teenagers have limited ability to accept and learn knowledge, and their understanding of the red spiritual culture is not clear enough, and they cannot well understand the beliefs and beliefs in it. Some young teachers do not pay much attention to red culture education and do not understand its importance to young people’s education. Secondly, teachers do not have sufficient reserves of red resources and related knowledge, so they cannot integrate red cultural resources into teenagers’ educational activities and create a good red educational environment.

Social aspects

There are some phenomena of falsifying or distorting history in the society, and children cannot be given correct guidance, and there is no good red cultural environment.

On September 1, 2022, a news that “foreign netizens or found color photos of the Nanjing Massacre” aroused the attention of Chinese netizens. According to a foreign netizen, he was recently approached by a customer who asked him to sell his family’s World War II album, in which the photographer shows his life in China and Southeast Asia in the form of photographs [7] .

He also visited the scene of the Nanjing Massacre and took more than 30 color pictures to prove that the pictures were real. He called the images “unprecedented” and “some of the most brutal images ever seen on the Internet” and said “everyone should see them”. But it is infuriating that so far Japan still refuses to admit the crimes, falsifies the history in their history textbooks without even mentioning the crimes, children are not properly educated from an early age, distorting the history. In the face of this situation, China has taken positive measures to solve it, and promptly investigated and corrected the incidents that distorted facts and smears Chinese historical heroes.

Hillier, a world-renowned educator, once said, “History is the cornerstone of a child’s development.” Children should be allowed to understand the real history and live in the correct red cultural environment, in order to carry out correct red education for preschool children, and then more deeply understand the red spirit.

The exploration of educational resources is not strong

In view of the current situation of red cultural resources, first of all, some areas have not realized the importance of red culture, some revolutionary sites are in disrepair, revolutionary buildings are seriously damaged, and they are not repaired in time, which is not conducive to exploring the revolutionary spirit in them. Secondly, many red revolutionary items are still lost to the people and cannot be collected and protected in time, resulting in less and less things for children to carry out red education, which is unfavorable to the red education of children in the future. In addition, there has been excessive development, and in some areas, in order to obtain more economic benefits, revolutionary buildings and objects have been unrestrained development and utilization, and even the surrounding trees and buildings have been further destroyed, destroying the original appearance of the old revolutionary areas, and poor protection of the red ruins. Finally, in some areas, the publicity of red resources is not in place, or the management is not good, resulting in the failure to give full play to the function of red cultural resources.

In addition, the youth park ignores the use of red resources, the content form is single and boring, there are many youth parks just to go a form, ignoring the connotation of red culture to penetrate.

3.2. Analysis of the Reasons for Integrating Red Culture into Patriotic Education Activities for Teenagers

Fragmentation of educational themes

China’s red culture has a long history, it is a splendid civilization of the Chinese nation, red culture and educational resources are rich and colorful, although the current state strongly supports the use of red resources for red education of young people, but there is still fragmentation of the use of red resources, and it is not able to integrate rich red resources with various educational activities of young people.

There are deficiencies in the design of curriculum activities for teenagers, and there are few red culture-related contents in the curriculum for teenagers, and few red resources in the activities for teenagers [8] .

One-sided form of education

Some parents have a narrow cognition of red education, and some parents have a low recognition of the value of red education activities, and the lack of attention to red education in family activities, resulting in many teenagers do not understand the revolutionary deeds and do not know the red spirit. In addition, some youth parks only carry out “face projects” and “appearance” walks in order to meet the requirements of the state and carry out red education for preschool children in accordance with the requirements of the state, and this is nothing more than that, they have not carried out profound education for teenagers, and the revolutionary spirit contained in red culture has not been fully inherited and disseminated. The dissemination of red culture is localized and limited, and the red culture education is one-sided.

Insufficient use of red resources

Liaoning is rich in red cultural resources, which plays a subtle role in the education of young people. However, the youth park has not established stable cooperation with corresponding associations, revolutionary scenic spots and education bases, and has not fully relied on scientific research institutes and Party history offices to strengthen the development and construction of red resources and fully tap the revolutionary spirit and value connotation contained in the red history, resulting in the lack of teaching resources for patriotic education activities for young people, and parents’ participation is not high, making it difficult to form home education.

If the red culture wants to better integrate with the patriotic education activities of young people, it is necessary to innovate, find out the problems and constantly correct them. So how can red education go to a higher level? The following points will give strategies for the integration of red culture and patriotic education activities for young people.

4. Strategies for Integrating Red Cultural Resources into Youth Patriotism Education Activities

4.1. To Integrate Curriculum Resources to Enhance the Significance of Red Culture Education

Health field—Outdoor activities enhance physical fitness

Young people are in the stage of physical development, teachers to lead young people to carry out outdoor activities will help young people to better develop their physical functions and help them exercise their coordination ability. Young teachers can combine the red culture with the outdoor activities of young people, and at the same time, they can also let young people understand the difficulties of revolutionary ancestors.

In the field of health, teachers can carry out a variety of outdoor activities. For example, in the context of guerrilla warfare, teachers can first explain to teenagers the sources of guerrilla warfare and who are the famous figures, then lead them to carry out outdoor activities, and divide the class into several groups according to their strength. In guerrilla warfare, some people play the negative role and some people play the positive role. The positive character needs to lead his team safely through some pre-set obstacles, and the negative character is responsible for interfering. Finally, the team that successfully reached the finish line was awarded a medal. In the process of playing games, young people can also more deeply understand the difficulties of guerrilla warfare and the difficulties of ancestors.

Language field—Red story preaching, imperceptible

Through language teaching, teachers can tell the deeds of relevant heroes to teenagers, and according to the age characteristics of teenagers, adopt a suitable and acceptable way to subtly integrate red culture into language teaching.

Adolescence is a critical period for children’s language development, and the key to the development of adolescent language is to create an environment that can make them want to speak, dare to speak, like to speak, and have the opportunity to speak. Can carry out the “red classic story” as the theme of the story competition, a hero’s deeds in the mouth of the small story writers, they use a young tone of speech, with the performance of the body display, the red story is vividly told. Colorful stories bring young people beautiful yearning, and continue to carry forward the traditional Chinese culture through the story inheritance, and further enhance the national pride and self-confidence of young people.

Social field—Visit and travel, remember history

Take the anniversary of China’s Red Revolution as the starting point to strengthen the construction of red culture. Various statutory holidays, traditional festivals, anniversaries and commemorations of major historical events, such as the Long March of the Communist Party of China, the anniversary of national humiliation, the September 18th Massacre and the Nanjing Massacre, are all precious materials for moral education.

September 18 is the anniversary of the “September 18” incident. On September 18, 1931, the September 18 Incident broke out, and the Japanese invaders blew up the Liutiao Lake Railway and launched the Japanese invasion of China to Shenyang. Today, on September 18, air sirens are sounded to remind us of this history and to remind us of our national shame. Thinking about how to save the hero and complete the task can not only help children understand and experience the red culture, but also connect what happened in the past with the present life, so as to cultivate children’s thinking ability and problem-solving ability.

Art field—Creating an atmosphere of moral education and enhance the sense of ritual

Youth parks and teachers can organize activities related to red culture to enrich the experience of young people.

Teenagers can learn red songs under the guidance of teachers by explaining or participating in a series of activities such as rewalking the anti-union road. The youth park can contact the society to organize some small or large-scale artistic performances, so that young people can personally experience the scene and feelings of the heroes of the Resistance League in the children’s drama performing the story of the Resistance League. Let the spirit of the resistance into the bone and blood, experience the blood of the ancestors and the hard-won happy life today, ignite the children’s patriotic enthusiasm, so that the children have a stronger sense of national pride.

To visit Red cultural bases, historical museums, revolutionary sites

At present, some martyrs’ memorials and revolutionary sites in society have gradually become the practice base of emotional education for students in schools. For example, the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall in Heilongjiang Province carries out colorful patriotic education activities every year according to special time points.

The youth park can make full use of such resources, make full use of and give full play to the advantages of red resources, and carry out practical activities with the theme of “Retaking the road of resistance”, so that children can review red memories. In the exhibition hall of the museum, listen to the teacher explain the history of the Northeast Anti-Japanese War. In the museum, children can see the supplies of the heroes of the anti-Japanese Union, such as worn military uniforms, oil lamps, water bottles, etc. Through the pictures displayed in the museum, the explanation of the docents and the re-enactment of some scenes, the teenagers can deeply understand the history, see the harsh environment at that time, as if they were in it, and experience the cruelty of war and the greatness of the spirit of resistance. It is like a magic key that opens the door to the imagination of the child’s mind, and in the world of the stage play, the child is happy, free, unfettered, and unrestrained. Understanding and learning the stories of historical figures is an important way to inherit and carry forward the red spirit.

The stage play that children watch is of rich educational significance. Watching the stage play about the Northeast Resistance League plays an extremely important role in the emotional education of teenagers. Some stage plays use children’s language and childlike innocence to talk to young audiences and tell stories they can understand. Through the snow and bullets and other very real beauty of the dance, with the scene change, there will be the scene of the war, the children in sometimes happy and sometimes nervous full emotion to watch the play, into the heart of the characters, into the era, more can inspire the revolutionary martyrs of the high respect, understanding today’s good life is hard won.

4.2. Create a Red Environment and Create a Red Educational Atmosphere

Youth kindergarten education

The youth park should make full use of the existing environmental conditions to create a red theme education environment, so that children can be immersive. For example, interactive performance, scene simulation or music rendering are used to create an experiential red cultural environment, carry out various red themed activities, etc., and have a sense of identity with heroic actions.

Combining with red culture, the youth park can create a red culture theme wall or create a red area corner. For example, in the process of carrying out red culture-themed activities, teachers can guide teenagers to participate in dressing up the classroom environment and decorate the red theme wall together. Vivid red historical stories surround the classroom wall, so as to realize the interaction between teenagers and the wall, and let red cultural education infiltrate children’s hearts with a silent gesture. Or open a red reading corner, select some red books and picture books suitable for teenagers to read, and guide teenagers to watch.

Teenagers themselves are in the formation stage of understanding ability, which requires teachers to infiltrate red culture into them reasonably in teaching, classroom and life. Use interesting methods to arouse the interest of wanting to learn red culture, express the profound truth in the language easy for children to understand, and effectively use the value of red culture.

Social education

Taking Liaoning as an example, the red Cultural resource management of the “six places” in Liaoning have received extensive attention. The “Six Places” in Liaoning Province have recorded important historical events that occurred on the land of Liaoning and Shenyang in the history of the Communist Party of China for a hundred years. They have strong attraction, infectivity, and dissemination power, and are of great significance for the implementation of the fundamental tasks of shaping student values and cultivating moral character. The “Six Places” red resources in Liaoning are a unique and powerful resource for Liaoning students to learn red education. Against this strong resource background, conducting red education for young people can create a strong red cultural environment and subtly influence their outlook on life, worldview, and values.

Providing correct guidance to young people in the social environment, allowing them to grow up with correct historical facts and understand the truth of history, can better utilize red culture to provide red education to young people.

4.3. Excavating Red Cultural Resources in Patriotic Education Activities for Young People

After all, the events and battles during the Revolutionary War are far from our lives today. Therefore, in the process of inheriting and carrying forward the red culture, young teachers and parents should pay attention to combining the education of red culture with the actual life and existing experiences of young people, and carry out creative innovations based on the characteristics of their physical and psychological development. Use a method that children can understand and accept to carry out educational activities, and focus on the emotional edification of children.

To enhance the popularity of “summer tourism” and promote the development of red tourism

Summer is the general travel season, but also the peak of parent-child travel, learning travel and so on. According to the survey in recent years, parent-child family Tours occupy the main tourism market.

Red tourism is mainly based on the sites where revolutionary heroes made great achievements during the war as the carrier, taking revolutionary history, revolutionary deeds, and revolutionary spirit as the main content, and organizing and receiving the masses to carry out themed tourism activities. Walking into the red scenic spots, you can not only enjoy the natural scenery, but also understand the history, understand the revolutionary deeds, and carry forward the red spirit [11] .

For example, Liaoning “six places” contains rich ideological connotation and times value, and has a strong function of educating people. Nowadays, “six places” has become the most characteristic “main melody” of “red tourism” in Liaoning Province. Relying on the “918” History Museum (Shenyang City), Liaoshen Campaign Memorial Hall (Jinzhou City), Northeast anti-Japanese United Army Memorial Hall (Benxi City), etc., focus on promoting the construction of red tourism scenic spots, attracting tourists to travel and promoting the development of red tourism.

Since the “May Day” holiday, Shenyang “9·18” History Museum has received a total of more than 100,000 visitors from inside and outside the province, and the masses waiting to enter the museum to visit the square. It can be seen that red tourism is becoming more and more mainstream.

Therefore, it is particularly important to conduct emotional education for preschool children through red tourism. Parent-child tour can choose some of the Northeast Resistance memorial sites, etc. Parents with their children can play, enjoy the scenery, but also understand the history of the Northeast Resistance, so that children in the “play middle school”, which is also in line with the learning characteristics of preschool children.

Cross-integration of digital technology and youth red education

In the top 20 report, there is a sentence: “Promote the digital process of education, build a learning society where everyone can learn for life, a learning country”. It is necessary to strengthen the construction of information, digital and intelligent, use education information to improve the quality of education and teaching and school efficiency, and promote the process of education modernization. The popularity of the Internet and the diversification of media have made the dissemination of information faster and more popular, and have also revolutionized educational methods.

Innovating the previous multimedia teaching methods

Such as making slide courseware. In the courseware, the static knowledge content about red culture can be presented in a dynamic way, and the abstract text content can be presented in animation, video and other ways, which can help children better understand the complex learning content, and let children’s imagination and creativity get the maximum play, so as to improve the comprehensive quality of children. In the use of slide courseware, the teacher can also keep the part of the teaching that is difficult for the children to understand, and by repeatedly demonstrating and playing, let the children better understand and remember. With the passage of time, children will find learning easy and enjoyable. In addition to using multimedia to show teenagers pictures of heroes and related stories, pictures, images, etc., with the development of science and technology, teachers can also apply micro-lessons to the red education of teenagers. Micro-lesson resources are interesting and can satisfy the desire of young people in this age group to learn and realize “learning by playing”.

The combination of red culture education and digital technology

Virtual reality technology (referred to as “VR”) is accompanied by the improvement of social productivity and scientific and technological level and has been rapidly developed, and various industries have a strong demand for it. VR technology has also made great progress, and the education industry has begun to apply VR to the teaching activities of teenagers. Therefore, educational methods can be enriched by combining VR with red cultural resources [12] .

The digital presentation of red culture can not only completely preserve the existing red cultural resources in the form of text, pictures, audio and video, but also reduce the impact of urban construction and development on the protection of red cultural resources in the process of social development to a certain extent. At the same time, VR, AR and other new media technologies are used to restore and “reproduce” historical relics and old sites with a long history, lost and damaged historical relics and old sites, and big data, cloud computing and other technologies are used to create a realistic red cultural museum in the virtual real world, so as to promote the protection of red resources and enrich red education resources. So as to better red education for teenagers.

Red education for pre-school children can be done through the use of new media environment, visiting some red cultural education resource platforms that use Internet digital technology to openly share red cultural education resources to society, schools and youth parks and other places. The Youth park can also organize young people to have VR experience, wear virtual reality glasses for children through scene reproduction, virtual reality and other technology methods, and provide children with immersive visual and auditory experience with the help of new media platforms, so as to stimulate children to have a deeper understanding of red culture.

4.4. To Establish a Practice Platform for Integrating Red Culture into Youth Education

To focus on the comprehensive application of knowledge and build an innovative practice platform

The main goal is to build a series system of red culture teaching content, conduct in-depth research on advanced teaching concepts at home and abroad, pay attention to the development frontier of preschool education disciplines, optimize and restructure the teaching content, organize and design related materials, and design comprehensive application courses. Relying on various red cultural bases of the school, various practical platforms are built for patriotic education activities of young people.

Actively participate in various teaching competitions to promote teaching

In the course of teaching, the idea of design is emphasized throughout the whole process, and problems are found in practice and analyzed and solved with the knowledge learned. If the problems found have practical application value, the red culture and education base is used to innovate and actively participate in various teaching competitions to improve ability and quality.

5. Conclusions

Under the new historical conditions, red culture is a kind of educational resources with Chinese characteristics, and also a valuable spiritual wealth shared by the Chinese nation. Under the new historical conditions, the success of the “Chinese Dream” will directly affect the future of our generation of people. We are indulging in the colorful material world, it is inevitable that we will lose ourselves on the road to realize our ideals. Lao Tzu said, “The five colors blind the eyes, and the five tones deafen the ears.” If we want to continue to walk the road of socialism, we must make our bodies flow with bright red blood, keep our thoughts clear, keep our actions firm, carry forward the excellent red culture, and pass it on from generation to generation.

This article discusses the strategy of integrating red culture into patriotic education activities of young people, hoping that the value of red culture can be truly reflected in the teaching activities of young people. Although there are still shortcomings in the protection of red resources and the red education for teenagers, this is encouraging us to work hard to constantly improve the red education mechanism, enrich the red education and teaching methods, and carry out a correct grasp of red education. To innovate the way of red education, increase the artistry and interest in the learning process, make full and effective use of red cultural resources, improve young people’s interest in learning red culture, and achieve the effect of twice the result with half the effort.

As we all know, it takes ten years to grow trees and a hundred years to grow people. Education has its own laws and characteristics, it is a long-term accumulation process, we should abide by the principle from shallow to deep, first of all, to lay the advanced knowledge foundation, build a good knowledge system, and then to pursue skills and methods. In the process of teaching, kindergarten teachers should always adhere to the principle of “based on life, return to life, practice first”, as long as they return to the life world, the true meaning of education will be revealed. Therefore, it is necessary to link red culture with life, and teachers should change their teaching methods timely and flexibly according to the reality.

In short, it is of great significance to carry out red culture education in youth parks. It can not only stimulate youth’s interest in excellent traditional culture, but also exercise their memory, cultivate their aesthetic taste, stimulate their patriotism and national pride, cultivate their sentiment and shape their personality. Let the excellent red culture infiltrate the hearts of children as soon as possible, take root in the hearts of children, “children are cultivated and guided by Ming rites”, and lay a good thinking foundation for the lifelong development of children! It is hoped that parents, society and youth park can work together to explore the essence of traditional Chinese culture, educate and inherit children’s red culture in the most appropriate way, and cultivate a new generation of patriotic and patriotic people for the development of the motherland.
