Dataset
The animations are made with raw strain data from all 54 fiber optical strain sensors used for the paper "Input Torque Measurements for Wind Turbine Gearboxes Using Fiber Optical Strain Sensors":

-The file "FOS animation polar 100T" shows the (amplified) strain of each sensor according to their angular position for consecutive time samples. The effect of the passing of the five planets on the ring gear can be seen. The data is from a test at nominal torque.

- The file "ring1 linear 100T” uses the same raw data but plots it in a linear way according to the sensor number.

- The file “ring1 linear 025T” corresponds to data gathered at 25% of the nominal torque
