Discussion about the Cr-Mo Steel Materials Using in CNG Cylinders

Article Preview

Abstract:

This study analyzes the properties of different Cr-Mo steels using in CNG cylinders was discussed in this paper. It is shown that 34CrMo4 has finer microstructure, higher hardness, higher tensile properties and better hydrostatic pressure burst results. As the material for CNG gas cylinders, the advantages of 34CrMo4 are more obvious.
