Energy-Saving Design for Hydraulic Cylinder Reciprocating Seal Based on QFD

Article Preview

Abstract:

An energy-saving design for hydraulic cylinder reciprocating seal is proposed in this paper to improve using efficiency of seal, and reduce environmental pollution and energy consumption caused by oil leakage. HOQ of QFD is utilized to translate customer requirements into technical design requirements controlled by environmental factors, and the conflicts between technical requirements are obtained. TRIZ theory is used to resolve the conflicts, and gets energy-saving design solutions. The energy consumption compare between before and after improving seal is presented to illustrate the validation of the methods.
