Analysis of the Hydrocarbon Resource Base Formation and Regional Characteristics of Hydrocarbon Potential of Bathonian Bathonian Reservoir in the West Siberian Basin

The paper provides a historical analysis of the formation of hydrocarbon resource base present in Bathonian reservoir of the West Siberian oil and gas province. It is ascertained that Yu2-Yu4 regional oil and gas reservoirs hold large hydrocarbons reserves, which have scarcely been developed. The specific features of oil and gas potential of Bathonian reservoir have been discussed, allowing to identify patterns of regional distribution of oil and condensate accumulations.
