We describe a case of perianal rhabdomyosarcoma. A 21-year-old female was seen at the hospital because of a perianal mass and anal pain. A hard hemisherical mass was palpable subcutaneously in her anus. The tumor 6cm in diameter was excised. Pathological findings showed alveolar type of rhabdomyosarcoma. Seven months later, the tumor recurred, and an abdominoperineal resection was performed. After the operation, local recurrence and paraaortic lymph node metastasis appeared. Radiation therapy and chemotherapy were done, but ineffective. The patient died 13 months after the operation. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a very rare entity and only 12 cases have been reported so far.
