Abstract The purpose of our research is to investigate the impact of human capital as a proxy for education on Moroccan economic growth. We mobilize a database derived from the World Bank and Penn World Table for this purpose. According to empirical results based on multiple linear models, human capital is a significant driver of economic growth in Morocco. Other control variables, such as domestic credit provided by the banking sector, savings level, trade openness, government effectiveness, and regulatory quality, also had a positive impact on growth, but their significance was not confirmed. Based on the study, corruption has a negative and significant impact on economic growth.
