Abstract Police brutality is a common word we hear around us. It is an offence which is a violation of civil rights. To describe this term, it means police are using excessive force to apprehend another person. Excessive force might include physical and verbal harassment of an individual. There is no only one misconduct or negative act done by police but there are other misconduct forms as well which includes false arrest, beating, sexual assault, racial abuse, torture, indiscrimination, unlawful killing, mental injury and property damage.
