Description

This is the histopathological image of PAROTID GLANID tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: One year history of tumor of parotid gland, diameter 3 cm. 3,2 x 2,2 cm hypoechoic tumor of parotid gland on ultrasound.

Result of the histopathological examination: Myoepithelioma: S100+, GFAP+, SMA+, CKAE1/AE3 focally+, CALP+, EMA-, p53-, bcl2-, Ki-67 2%.
