Prognóstico de crianças e adolescentes sujeitas ao diagnóstico precoce da Depressão

INTRODUÇÃO: A depressão é uma doença mental que pode ser explicada tanto por fatores genéticos, quanto orgânicos e afeta não só os adultos, mas também as crianças e adolescentes. Por conta da gravidade dessa doença e seu acometimento na vida social e profissional do indivíduo, é necessário ter diagnósticos mais precisos no seu início. METODOLOGIA: O presente estudo é uma revisão exploratória integrativa de literatura. Foram levantados 76 artigos, nos quais 56 foram excluídos e 20 incluídos. Os artigos foram identificados utilizando as bases de dados Bireme, Ebsco, Google Scholar, Pubmed e por fim Scielo. RESULTADOS: Os 20 artigos incluídos discutem sobre a gravidade da depressão e a associação com outras doenças mentais, como TDAH, borderline, bipolaridade e vícios. DISCUSSÃO: Por meio de revisões literárias e artigos produzidos entre 2012 e 2022 foi possível analisar que a depressão é uma doença psiquiátrica associada a outras doenças e muitas vezes confundida com TDAH na infância. Além disso, foi analisado o papel da família no tratamento da doença, assim como sua relação com vícios e fobias. CONCLUSÃO: Foi demonstrado que o transtorno depressivo infantil, ansiedade e fobias quando percebidas precocemente tem a probabilidade de predizer a melhora do quadro mental na idade adulta.
