The inverse spin-Hall effect, i.e., conversion spin currents into electromotive force, has been investigated in Pt1-xMx(M=Cu, Au) thin films. We measured the electric voltage due to the inverse spin-Hall effect induced by spin pumping in Ni81Fe19/Pt1-xMx(M=Cu, Au) bilayer systems with changing x and the species of M. The experimental results revealed that the dependence of estimated spin-Hall angle θISHE on longitudinal conductivity was well reproduced by θISHE ∝ σxx0.54, indicating that the spin-Hall angle in metallic films could be controlled by changing the species of impurity and concentration in the metallic films.
