Syndemics of COVID-19 and Human Relationship in Dilemma: A Case of Nepal

Abstract

Since its origin Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in early December 2019 it reached Nepal after about one month. Though the death rate is comparatively analyzed as low regarding European and American countries but it has become a cause of the evolution of other health problems like psychological disorder among large number of people, suicidal cases, declining condition of chronic patients, and not yet studied but rise in the cases of diabetics and so on with remarkable symptom on those who are in the access of medical services. Nepalese society, commonly known as warm and harmonious with cooperative nature has been slowly turning its steps towards individualistic behaviour. Complexities in health sectors are in the rise causing human relationship in the condition of dilemma.
