Abstract
β-fluoroethyl acetate rodenticide intoxication can manifest as several different clinical abnormalities such as respiratory, neurologic, cardiologic and fluid-electrolyte problems. We report here on the MR findings of a case that showed symmetric cytotoxic edema in the white matter of the cerebral hemispheres after the ingestion of β-fluoroethyl acetate rodenticide by a woman who was attempting suicide.
