PädagogInnenbildung Neu im Verbund LehrerInnenbildung West. Eine Standortbestimmung zu Gelingensbedingungen und Herausforderungen
Abstract
The individual construction, implementation and realisation of the framework requirements of the new teacher education programme in Austria requires specific solutions from the partnership between the universities and teacher education colleges, based on local circumstances. This article presents the LehrerInnenbildung WEST experience of jointly implementing a study programme for secondary school teachers, including discussion on how inter-institutional issues could be circumvented in light of distinct geographical and structural issues. The classical approach of providing good practice models is insufficient within this context as they largely ignore multifactorial complexity (interinstitutional, interdisciplinary, legal uncertainties, time factors, geographical features, supranational aspects). Discussed examples serve as prototypical next practice solutions which are necessary within the development of the entire programme.
