Abstract
The obligation of the Austrian schools of education to cooperate with the universities requires a vote on the various laws pertaining to tertiary studies for the adoption of an identical curriculum for all institutions involved. In addition, the inclusion of private legal entities such as private schools of education or universities from abroad needs to be considered. Consequently, the most important problem zones in the laws pertaining to tertiary studies are sketched briefly and possible solutions offered.
