THE LAUNDRY IN THE CHKALOV (ORENBURG) REGION DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR AND POSTWAR PERIOD (1941—1953)
Abstract
The article discusses the problems in the operation of the laundry of the Chkalov (Orenburg) region during the Great Patriotic War and the postwar years. It was proved that the laundry of Chkalov operated at a loss, the reason for this was the failure to carry out the washing sheets, lack of personnel, lack of fuel and soap, technical insecurity, delaying capital and current repairs, which resulted in the down time at the laundry. It was precisely the solution to these problems in early 1950s that contributed to the achievement and overachievement of the annual laundry plan, which had a beneficial effect on the economic performance of the laundry of Chkalov.
