Abstract

German	German Ein Mädchen in Gaikorobi brennt sich während der Seklusionszeit (nach Einsetzen der Menarche) mit dem glimmenden Blütenstengel einer Palme Narben in die Haut des Unterarms.
English	English Pandidjangi, a girl who has concluded her seclusion during first menstruation, eats a sago pancake. Tambiandjo, another girl who is still in seclusion, leaves her house and goes to a nearby standing cocos palm. She burns scars into the skin of her lower arm with glowing fruitstalks of a palm.
