Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran NHT menggunakan media Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi elastisitas kelas Xl MAN 3 Aceh Utara. Jenis penelitian quasi eksperiment, desain Nonequivalent control grup design. Populasi kelas XI MAN 3 Aceh Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sampel yang diambil kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan jumlah 18 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test dengan bantuan software SPSS 18. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 28,88 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 85. Sedangkan kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata pretest 28,61 dan rata-rata posttest yaitu 71. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test pada taraf signifikan 0,20 diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0.00 ≤ 0,20. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai N-gain untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 78% dengan kriteria tinggi dan kelas kontrol sebesar 61% dengan kriteria sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi elastisitas kelas XI MAN 3 Aceh Utara dengan penerapan model pembelajaran NHT menggunakan media Mind Mapping.
