Theoretical ground motion model presented here is tested against Miyagi-oki earthquake of June 12, 1978 observed at the stations Ofunato and Shiogama. The Green's functions of Ofunato and Shiogama are calculated exactly using the reported epicentral distance and focal depth. The theoretical ground motion models are estimated by the convolution of their Green's functions and the one source function derived by Inversion method. The wave form and Fourier spectra functions of the theoretical ground motion models agree well with the corresponding ones of Ofunato and Shiogama.
