Abstract: |
The Pediatric Symptom Checklist-17 (PSC-17) is a high-quality universal screening tool to identify children with emotional and behavioral risks in the school environment. In this study, we analyzed a large sample (N= 837) of teachers’ ratings on preschool children using PSC-17 by incorporating the children level and the teacher level covariates using a multilevel psychometric model named the multilevel diagnostic classification model. We then conducted the item analysis and person classification, as well as examined the effect of teaching experience, level of education and gender.
