Abstract: Inclusive education is an on-going process, grounded in ideologies of social justice and democracy. The purpose of this research was to empower student teachers to realize the potential of inclusive education and creative teaching. The aim of the study is to unveil how creativity emerges in the interplay of our professional working theories in our practices. This research is a narrative, collaborative self-study of five teachers in teacher education, where we focused on how our collaboration supported our courage to teach creatively. Daring to teach creatively, with unusual methods took courage. We felt it was important in order to meet the diversity in the student group and to teach them about and at the same time to apply creative methods.
