In this paper, the woody biomass use design was built by residents' participation by using Nakatsugawa area in Iide town, Yamagata Prefecture as the case ground. On the basis of this, the use intention of the amount of woody biomasses by the side of supply and the local resident by the side of demand has been grasped. Then, the reduction of a running cost mentioned as a problem was tried, and the possibility of woody pellet introduction was clarified. As forest environmental preservation and local activation by Locally Produced, Locally Consumed of the woody biomass, the possibility of woody pellet use at ordinary homes could be suggested.
