As the introduction of electric vehicles (EV) continues to advance, it is necessary to evaluate whether EVs can truly contribute to environmental sustainability. LCA is a method to evaluate the environmental impact from cradle to grave.In this study, we focused on CO2 among environmental loads and evaluated PV system-equipped electric vehicles (PVEVs) based on usage patterns. The results revealed that PVEVs can contribute to environmental sustainability long distance driving and use compared to internal combustion engine vehicles.A comparison with EVs revealed that they are superior over short distances.
