CRAFT: A Tool for Customizing Color and Font Selections Guided by Perceptual Rules

Abstract

This paper describes an interactive approach to customizing the selection of colors and fonts for workstation applications. In CRAFT (Color Rule and Font Tool), the interactive selection of colors and fonts is guided by rules based on principles of text legibility, human color perception and aesthetics.
