Abstract

The aim of this study is to clarify the problems in managing the participatory process aiming at promoting a citizen's organization. Such participatory process is to be conducted by various kinds of meetings for several years. In this study, process of participatory planning and activities are analyzed in waterfront revitalization project in Komatsushima City as a case study.
As results, the management for participants to form some group who attend continuously the meeting was found important.
In addition, the author showed the possibility to use the social network index for the management of participatory process.
