Railway network of Tokyo metropolitan area is very high-density and there are several routes in same origin and destination station. Many web sites for searching railway route are established on the Internet, and some effects may not be ignored for transit users. Log of the search result are analyzed so as to investigate who, when and which station are consulted in this research. Usage of this service such as number of search and time in advance are also considered. Comparison with transit census data can reveal characteristics of this kind of web site.
