Abstract

Since the big-scale Hanshin-Awaji earthquake disaster, the problem is considered related to earthquake damage and seismic preparedness plan. The importance of soft technology for disaster prevention is also recognized. In this study, based on estimation of damage at early stage in the earthquake disaster, we propose the methodology to utilize the information about earthquake damage supporting system and operating system of emergent goods transportation for possibility of quick and accurate emergency measure. Furthermore, this paper shows the convenience store has been utilized in order to supply drinking water and food just after the earthquake.
