Results of radioisotope flight safety analyses and tests are presented. Safety study of a typical Cape Canaveral launch, study of a lunar tmpact of a radioisotope-fueled thermoelectric generator, upper atmosphere experimental re- entry studies, fuel core heating and ablation, generator burnup, high altitude sampling, and radioisotope shielding code are discussed.
