抄録

It is discussed in this report how to decrcase the vibrating stress at thc supporting point of a tuning fork which causes to leak the energy of vibration from the point. In the discussion, the relation of the added mass on each free end of the tuning fork to the stress vibration at the supporting point in the direction parallel to the tincs is considcred theoreticallyand the Possibility of the complate climination of the leakage at the supporting point is suggested. The result of the consideration is ascertained experimentally. The stress would be considered as invitable one in a tuning before, however, by the result of investgation, it is seen that such problem can be solved and higher Q tuning fork is easi1y obtaincd.
