To esitimate regression equatation including categorical variables, data are analyzed by means of program of quantification theory I or regression analysis. In the analysis, dummy variables are generated from categorical variables without concerning nature of categories. Most of practical cases, categories has order or hierarchical structure. In such case, dummy variables should be generated concerning the nature of categories to derive more simple model and effective regression equation for prediction. This paper gives several manners of generation of dummy variables.
