Non-life insurance is a business with high sociality and public welfare. Accordingly, non-life insurance companies have higher ethics than general firms do. Non-life insurance is a business that requires the license in accordance with Insurance Business Law. Preparation of disclosure leaflet is necessary under the law and a penalty is applied in case of breaching the law. The obligation of preparing disclosure leaflet under the law is beneficial for more correct information disclosure. It can be said that non-life insurance companies raise their business ethics owing to the public assistance of Insurance Business Law. The thesis considered the relations among business ethics of non-life insurance companies, the information disclosure, and the supervising law.
