To develop a sustainalbe steelmaking industry, not only the improvement of existing iron and steelmaking processes but also the develeoment of new concept for iron and steelmaking processes are necesarry. Eco-Metallurgy Forum (EMF) in the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan (ISIJ) aims to establish a sustainable iron and steelmaking industry by combining the knowledge of other areas.
