In present paper, I recorded my breeding result that the so-called "Swell inch-worm on Ilex crenata THUMB." which had been described and misplaced in Nemoria by late Dr. Tadajiro Sasaki in his "Insects Injurious to Japanese Trees" (1899) was the larva of Rhynchobapia flaviceps BUTLER, and gived a full description on its pupal characters.
