Several fundamental allometries based on shell length on the mussel, Mytilus galloprovincials are reported. Between either two of parameters, such as shell length (L in mm), height (H in mm), breadth (B in mm), live weight (W in mg), dry fresh weight (W_d in mg), weight of shell (W_s in mg) and volume (V in mm^3), the following relationship exist : log H=0.9281 log L-0.1487, log B=1.044 log L-0.7700 (L≩10mm), log B=0.9207 log L-0.3467 (L≨10mm), log W=2.66 log L-0.5361 (L≩15mm), log W=3.27 log L-1.228 (L≨15mm), log W_d=2.08 log L-0.9031 (L≩15mm), log W_d=3.11 log L-2.1068 (L≨15mm), log W_s=3.00 log L-1.4685, log V=3.00 log L-1.070 (L≩20mm), and log V=2.50 log L-0.426 (L≨20mm).
