Three-dimensional printers are used to fabricate prostheses and dental models at various positions on the build table. We evaluated the effect of print position on the accuracy of the printed object. Cuboid (20 mm x 20 mm x 20 mm, wall thickness: 3 mm) specimens for evaluation were printed five times at six printing positions on a build table. The dimensions of the printed objects were then measured with digital calipers to evaluate the accuracy of X-, Y-, and Z-axis printing. The X- and Y-axis printing was highly accurate, whereas the Z-axis measurement was approximately 0.2 mm (1%) shorter than the design value. The printed objects had no significant differences depending on the printing position. Printed objects could be used for orthodontics and surgical guides with consideration of the relevant clinical tolerances of the intended use. (J Osaka Dent Univ 2024; 58: 51-58)
