Abstract:
Ten bacterial strains of Pseudomonas syringae pv. savastanoi were tested in vitro to evaluate the sensitivity to seventeen antibiotics: neomycin, kanamycin, streptomycin, aureomycin, tetracycline, terramycin, chloromycetin, chloramphenicol, penicillin, novobiocin, oleandomycin, erythromycin, polymyxin B, dihydrostreptomycin, ampicillin, doxycicline, and espiramicine.
Eight strains were sensitive to all antibiotics, and the other two strains were sensitive to the first six antibiotics, resistant to the next eight and moderately sensitive to the last three.
