Author:   F.S. MacNaeidhe
Keywords:   cultivars, Fragaria x ananassa
DOI:   10.17660/ActaHortic.2002.567.121
Abstract:
A number of everbearing cultivars were evaluated for late production from mid-August to late November from 1993 to 1999. From 1993 to 1996 Tango and Evita gave the largest fruit yield but the fruit size was small. In 1998 the cultivar Bolero was evaluated. The fruit of this cultivar was well shaped and uniform but the yield was lower than that of Tango or Evita. In 1999 the cultivar Everest was evaluated. This cultivar gave a large yield. The fruit colour of this cultivar was darker than that of Evita, Tango or Bolero but was similar to that of Calypso.
