Author:   D. Ogašanovic
DOI:   10.17660/ActaHortic.1990.283.13
Abstract:
Valerija is an early plum cultivar for dessert use. The tree is medium vigorous, with moderately dense, pyramidal crown. It is a precocious, regular and abundant cropper. The fruits are large and roundish. The skin is dark blue, with heavy bloom. The flesh is firm, juicy, greenish, of a very fine, refreshing flavour. The stone is medium sized, free. Ripening season is early, several days before Cacanska Lepotica. In the conditions of Cacak it ripens in late July - early August.
