| Abstract:
With careful observation, a few simple tests, and attention to laboratory organisation and methods, it is possible to obtain useful information, and even to identify some of the bacteria likely to be found in tissue cultures and growing plants. This review outlines a simple work plan to identify or partially identify cultivable bacteria likely to be found in the plant tissue environment. It covers both saprophytes and pathogens. | |
