Summary of measurements

-136 trawl hauls made using GOV 36/47, lasting 30 minutes, at depths between 15 and 600 m at each haul.
-Sorting, weighing and counting of all species caught.
-Measurements taken on species of real or potential economic interest.
-Hard tissue samples were taken (otoliths, scales, fin rays) on hake, cod, whiting, dab, pollack, common ling, sole and angler fish.
-Size/weight measurements taken for 39 species to supplement existing size/weight keys.
-10 vertical temperature profiles (surface/bottom) distributed over a leg perpendicular to the coast.
-Experimental production of surimi from blue whiting.
-Samples taken of fish guts to find and characterise enzyme activities like that of exopeptidase.
-Batch samples of hake, whiting and dab in the framework of the SCPRI programme (titration of radioelements).
